Founded in 1991, DBC Makina currently develops, manufactures, and markets drilling equipment for mineral exploration and geotechnical engineering. As one of the few companies globally capable of manufacturing “Total Core Drilling Technologies”, DBC produces all necessary machinery and equipment for core drilling in-house - from diamond bits to drilling rigs - and exports them to developed countries worldwide. Underground and surface drilling rigs of all capacities are manufactured.

Additionally, through joint efforts with the world’s leading drilling companies, DBC has developed specialized rigs suitable for helicopter transport, ATEX Group 1 M2 compliance for explosive environments, and operations in arctic conditions. Furthermore, entirely custom-made drilling rigs can be successfully designed and manufactured to meet clients’ specific site requirements and project demands. All design and manufacturing processes are carried out using the latest computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD-CAM) systems.

Quality is assured through the company’s advanced materials and precision measurement laboratories, where all critical components are machined using high-precision equipment and undergo rigorous structural and geometric quality control tests. Alongside CE-certified drilling rigs, diamond drill bits produced in computerized, atmospheric-controlled furnaces are marketed globally under the FASTDRILL brand. Matrix body 8 1/2” PDC drill bits, used in oil and gas drilling, are also successfully manufactured and supplied to the industry by DBC.

DBC conducts international-standard R&D projects supported by scientific research institutes and holds numerous patents and utility models. The DMatic drilling rig, capable of fully automatic and computer-controlled drilling, has successfully completed its test drilling down to a depth of 500 meters. Following this process, DMatic technology has been successfully integrated with a robotic arm rod handling system, realizing the drilling industry’s ultimate expectation of “hands-free” drilling operations.

As a result of the high quality of its products and its success in international markets, a distributorship agreement was signed with Hitachi Construction Machinery, one of the world’s most prominent heavy machinery manufacturers, making Hitachi the main distributor for DBC in many global markets. DBC currently operates in a modern 25,000 m² manufacturing facility. To increase current production capacity and expand the facility, construction has begun on a new 5,000 m² building, ensuring the company’s operational growth continues uninterrupted. Simultaneously, R&D processes for new technological products are ongoing to further expand the existing comprehensive product range.
