The Collection

Over the course of nearly a decade, Diamante A&T devoted five special editions to diamond wire, with the aim of providing a significant overview of the evolution of this technology, from traditional applications to innovative ones.

The collection brings together previously published technical articles and scientific papers in chronological order, covering the period 1995-2021. Each volume documents a specific historical stage in the evolution of diamond wire, allowing readers to follow the process that led this technology to become a key solution for cutting natural stone, particularly granite, on multiwire machines.

An important synergy between research, production and application has led to configurations and results that would have been unimaginable at the beginning of this journey. These collections reflect the passion and commitment of the Authors, to whom we once again extend our thanks.
